YEFE Dione G-12+ Concentrated is an ethylene glycol based engine coolant and antifreeze concentrate that utilises Organic Acid Inhibitor Technology to deliver long-life corrosion protection for modern cooling systems. Free from nitrites, amines, phosphates, borates and silicates, the formulation is designed for water-cooled internal combustion engines in passenger cars and commercial vehicles, as well as heat exchange systems, solar collectors and central heating installations. Its advanced inhibitor package offers robust protection for radiators, engine blocks and cooling passages constructed from aluminium and ferrous materials. Fleet trials have proven that when used at the correct concentration, coolants based on Organic Acid Inhibitor Technology continue to provide effective corrosion protection up to 250,000 km for passenger cars and up to 1,000,000 km in commercial vehicles. It is recommended that the coolant is replaced once these mileage thresholds are reached or after 5 years of operation, whichever occurs sooner. YEFE Dione G-12+ Concentrated also supports stable heat transfer performance, helping to maintain consistent engine operating temperatures and minimise the risk of overheating under demanding conditions. To ensure proper performance, YEFE Dione G-12+ Concentrated must be mixed with high quality demi water such as distilled or deionised water and not with tap water, which may compromise coolant effectiveness. A minimum concentration of 33% (1:2) volume in the coolant solution is recommended and most car manufacturers advise a balanced concentration of 50% (1:1) volume for optimal results. In extremely cold climates, increasing the concentration to 67% (2:1) volume is advisable to prevent freezing and further improve overall coolant performance.
