- YEFE Catena FS FG 150 is formulated with synthetic base oils that provide high thermal stability, low volatility and excellent oxidative resistance, ensuring a stable lubricating film and long lubricant life in high-temperature food processing environments.
The additive package includes food grade anti-wear agents, corrosion inhibitors and special adhesion enhancers, delivering strong EP protection, extended chain life and reduced lubricant consumption, while remaining compliant with NSF H1 and FDA-type regulations for incidental food contact.
Its non-drip, no-fling behavior and resistance to acidic and alkaline cleaning solutions help maintain clean, safe and efficient operation in conveyor lines, oven chains and gear units in food and beverage plants.Typical Properties

- Viscosity at 40°C: typically around 138–165 mm²/s (cSt).
- Viscosity at 100°C: typically around 19.3–22.0 mm²/s (cSt).
- Viscosity Index: approx. 159.
- Flash Point: around 240–250°C.
- Pour Point: approximately -25°C.
- Excellent anti-wear performance with low four-ball wear scar diameter.
- Very low evaporation (<3–4% at 232–260°C) and high oxidation stability (up to 1000 hours in active oxidation tests).
YEFE Catena FS FG 150 Food Grade Synthetic Chain Fluid is recommended for:
