YEFE Catena HT 220 is a fully synthetic high temperature chain oil formulated to operate reliably at bulk temperatures up to around 300°C on a wide variety of industrial transport and drive chains. Based on premium synthetic ester technology and a carefully selected additive system, it offers high thermal and oxidation stability, low evaporation loss, excellent anti-wear and extreme-pressure performance, and strong corrosion resistance, ensuring clean, residue-free operation even under continuous high-temperature conditions. YEFE Catena HT 220 is ideal for conveyorized oven chains, continuous wood panel presses, drying tunnels, paint lines and other high-temperature chain applications in industries such as food processing, wood, glass, steel and textiles, where reliable lubrication and minimal carbon build-up are critical.

• YEFE Catena HT 220 is based on high-performance synthetic ester fluids with an ISO VG 220 viscosity grade, providing an optimal balance of film strength and fluidity for high-temperature chain lubrication.
  These synthetic base oils are inhibited against oxidation and formulated to deliver an elongated, stable wet film within a wide temperature range, with minimal tendency to form carbon residues on chain components.
  The additive system incorporates anti-wear and EP agents, corrosion inhibitors and thermal stabilizers, producing a lubricant that maintains low volatility, high flash point, strong load-carrying capacity and excellent protection for chain mechanisms exposed to continuous high-temperature operation.

  Typical Properties

  • Viscosity Grade: ISO VG 220.
  • Viscosity at 40°C: approx. 200–220 mm²/s (cSt).
  • Viscosity at 100°C: approx. 24–25 mm²/s (cSt).
  • Viscosity Index: around 120.
  • Flash Point: around 250–260°C.
  • Typical operating temperature range: up to about 260–300°C in properly designed systems.
  • Low evaporation loss and excellent thermal stability with minimal carbon residue formation.
